Current Opportunities

  • The Building Engineer is responsible for operational functionality, safety, and maintenance of assigned buildings on campus, ensuring that all systems run efficiently and meet safety regulations. Campus consists of 9 complex buildings which total over 220,000 square feet of facilities. Some spaces will be occupied 24/7 by Veterans when classes are in session, as well as dogs in training.

    This is a salaried position that requires flexibility. Work occasionally requires more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential duties of the position; it may require irregular hours and on-call needs to accommodate unforeseen maintenance demands outside of regular hours.

    Attendance at events and other functions, and/or emergencies may require longer hours or evening work. During work, the employee is expected to be physically present at the office.

This position is responsible for the coordination, education, and ongoing support of volunteer puppy raisers, oversight of puppy health and training benchmarks, and collaboration with training staff to ensure puppies progress successfully through the early stages of development.   • The Security Manager, D Shift is responsible for leading, developing, and managing all aspects of physical security operations across the Liberty Dogs Campus. The Security Manager reports to the Director of Safey and Security and is an exempt position. This role ensures the safety of staff, Veterans, volunteers, visitors, and service dogs by overseeing a team of security officers, implementing security protocols, and coordinating emergency response strategies. As a Security Manager, you will serve as a client-facing leader and a frontline representative of our organization. This role requires a hospitality-focused approach, delivering calm, courteous, and service-driven interactions while setting the standard for your team. The ideal candidate brings a blend of leadership experience, operational oversight, and a strong commitment to the organization's mission of supporting Veterans through service dogs.

    This Security Manager will be responsible for the D Shift and will work the D Shift hours (6 pm – 6 am, Thursday - Saturday and every other Wednesday).
