Guardian Home Program

The Liberty Dogs™ Guardian Home Program is rooted in trust, partnership, and a genuine love for our dogs. Guardian Homes offer a stable, nurturing family environment where each of our breeding candidates can thrive, live a full and happy life, and continue supporting the Liberty Dogs mission.

Become a Guardian

The Liberty Dogs™ Guardian Home program is a unique opportunity for a volunteer to provide a loving home for a specially selected Service Dog breeding candidate.

By becoming a Guardian Home, you are a vital part of our mission, helping ensure that future Service Dogs will be available to U.S. Veterans. This is a meaningful long-term commitment, with females typically remaining in the program for up to 4 years and males for up to 7 years. During this time, we provide veterinary care, food, supplements, and basic equipment, cover costs, and retain ownership of the dog. Once their breeding career is complete, you have the rewarding opportunity to officially adopt the dog as a permanent member of your home and family.
